furcoat in cubao anybody?

yes! for all you people looking for the above mentioned product it can be found in a store in cubao--not in some ukay-ukay store but in gateway mall, the metro's newest mall (at this rate we should change the capital city's name to Mall-ila!) bernz and i scoured the araneta center's attempt at an upscale shopping mall and we were pleasantly surprised. it had a podium meets greenbelt feel. the interiors were very stark plus the center had this giant palm trees and zen garden in the center. you couldn't believe that you were in cubao (except when you glance outside the windows) with all the high end stores selling of all things-- a fur coat! imelda marcos, this is your place.

i guess the top reason for going there is to try taco bell and while i loved the chicken quesadillas, the tacos and burritos were so-so. (mexicali pa rin. their veggie burrito rocks!) the cinema lobby had a very colorful and stateside feel. some cinemas would have la-z boy chairs so it's worth trying out. may bagong hang out na ang mga tambay ng cubao para magpalamig! http://www.gatewaymall.com.ph
